ABOUT THE PRODUCT

AMT EX-10F-II is the device is a universal two-in-one device that combines the functionality of a mini expression pedal and a classic footswitch.

 IMPORTANT NOTE 

  • Before using this pedal connected to the device (like guitar processor, etc.), it must be calibrated firstly. That is, such device should provide the User with the ability to configure the calibration of the connected external expression pedal (for example: «Set Max/Set Min»).

► FEATURES

  • 10K Potentiometer
  • Unlike its predecessor, the AMT EX-50 expression pedal, the new product significantly increases the range of pedal movement (by 25-30%).
  • The device can be powered by any AC/DC power source in the voltage range from 9 to 18 volts.
  • When used in the expression pedal mode, the EX-10 II contains on-board TRS and TS outputs for controlling two devices simultaneously, as well as an INVERTED and NORMAL parameter switch.
  • The main feature of the new product is the possibility of simultaneous use of the device not only as an expression pedal, but also as a footswitch*. A special switch is provided on the side panel of the device, allowing the user to select one of two operating modes**: the «M — Momentary» button (footswitch) and the «L — Latch» button (footswitch).

*Attention! Depending on the type of switching used in an external guitar instrument (for example, a guitar processor), one of two types of cable can be connected to the output of the F.SWITCH M/L  of the EX-10F-II pedal:

  1. TRS (stereo) Jack 6,3
  2. TS (mono) Jack 6,3

**Important! To understand exactly which type of cable and connection mode is suitable for you, please carefully read the user manual for your instrument (for example, a guitar processor) to which you plan to connect the EX-10F-II pedal.

  • In addition, the EX-10F-II pedal body has a LED indication of footswitch operation, depending on the selected mode.
  • A reliable proven circuit, a durable metal case, as well as small dimensions make the pedal EX-10F-II an indispensable accessory both when working with guitar equipment as well as with any other devices where it is possible to control parameters from the outside via the expression pedal and/ or footswitch.

 IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE POWER SUPPLY 

For powering the AMT devices always use specialized power supplies originally designed for guitar pedals & gear meeting the following basic requirements:

Please, don't try to use for these purposes the usual cheapest power supply from household appliances and electronics, like from your laptop, Wi-Fi router, etc.! Such power supplies have a reverse polarity compared to AMT devices, so it won't work! Even if you're «the guy was born with a soldering iron in the hand» and almost ready to change a polarity of such power supply — we strongly not recommend you do that!

Those kinds of power supplies are not intended for using with the guitar gear. Otherwise, you'll get a problematic very noisy guitar sound full of «hum», «cheep», and other sound «effects»!
