ABOUT THE PRODUCT
AMT 12AX7 Warm Stone LE is a Light Edition (LE) version of the hit functional analog of the 12AX7 vacuum tube – AMT 12AX7 Warm Stone* solid-state «tube»!
*Discontinued at the moment.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Before you buy, make sure that the anode (plate) voltage in your device is at least 30V.
- The «thermal film» in which the AMT 12AX7 Warm Stone LE solid-state «tube» is placed is a special heat shrink.
- It can be either transparent or monochrome (black, white, etc.). Before using the lamp for the first time (as well as during its constant use), you do not need to remove this «film»!
The only difference between the LE version and the usual 12AX7 Warm Stone tube is just in appearance. Due to the fact that instead of the expensive (although aesthetically very beautiful) aluminum housing of the «tube», the LE version uses a transparent heat shrink. In that way, it was possible to significantly reduce the cost of production and retail price as well.
At the same time, according to all other technical characteristics, the LE version is ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL to the «full black body version» of the AMT 12AX7 Warm Stone solid-state «tube»!

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE POWER SUPPLY
For powering the AMT devices always use specialized power supplies originally designed for guitar pedals & gear meeting the following basic requirements:
Please, don't try to use for these purposes the usual cheapest power supply from household appliances and electronics, like from your laptop, Wi-Fi router, etc.! Such power supplies have a reverse polarity compared to AMT devices, so it won't work! Even if you're «the guy was born with a soldering iron in the hand» and almost ready to change a polarity of such power supply — we strongly not recommend you do that!
Those kinds of power supplies are not intended for using with the guitar gear. Otherwise, you'll get a problematic very noisy guitar sound full of «hum», «cheep», and other sound «effects»!
