ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The AMT EG Lock 1 is a quick-release mount designed specifically for the AMT EgoGig EG-4 multi-channel Live audio&midi player! 

► INTRODUCTION

The mounting kit includes 4 locking screws for the matching holes located on the bottom panel of the AMT EgoGig EG-4 player: they are screwed in only once at the very beginning before the first operation of EG Lock 1, and in the future there is no need to constantly remove these screws. Also, the kit includes 4 shock-absorbing self-adhesive pads, which are installed next to the locking screws, which contributes to additional fixation and necessary sealing at the contact points of the AMT EG Lock 1 pad and the bottom panel of the EgoGig EG-4 player.
 
In addition, the EG Lock 1 design is versatile and equally suitable for both right-handers and left-handers: the main rotary wing for adjusting the angle of inclination can be easily positioned both to the left and to the right relative to the AMT EgoGig EG-4 device.

How to install AMT EG Lock 1 on the AMT EgoGig EG-4 player

  • Insert the heads of the lock screws into the eyelets of the EG Lock 1 attachment;
  • Shift the mounting structure to the side until it stops;
  • Manually* (this effort will be enough) tighten the two locking screws.
    *With your fingers, so as not to rip off the thread (that is, without using third—party tools).

How to disconnect the AMT EG Lock 1 from the AMT EgoGig EG-4

  • Manually loosen the two locking screws;
  • Shift the mounting structure to the side until it stops;
  • Just remove the fastener from the lock screws.

 IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE POWER SUPPLY 

For powering the AMT devices always use specialized power supplies originally designed for guitar pedals & gear meeting the following basic requirements:

Please, don't try to use for these purposes the usual cheapest power supply from household appliances and electronics, like from your laptop, Wi-Fi router, etc.! Such power supplies have a reverse polarity compared to AMT devices, so it won't work! Even if you're «the guy was born with a soldering iron in the hand» and almost ready to change a polarity of such power supply — we strongly not recommend you do that!

Those kinds of power supplies are not intended for using with the guitar gear. Otherwise, you'll get a problematic very noisy guitar sound full of «hum», «cheep», and other sound «effects»!
