► INTRODUCTION

AMT Drive mini series effects are designed to be connected in front of a «clean» channel inputs of guitar combos or amplifiers, and do not have a cabinet simulated output. These pedals allow guitarists to obtain warm, crisp, natural tube sounds of their favorite high gain amplifiers, while preserving individuality and tone of the instrument and equipment.

In the Drive mini series, AMT uses new original circuitry solutions developed by AMT specialists based on real actual tube stage emulation and response. The result is bright, rich, full, and powerful distortion sounds.

► ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The AMT C-Drive mini is able to emulate the unique sound of Engl’s third cousin Cornford characterized by clear tone, diversity, and minimalism. This pedal provides a wide overdrive range from slight crunch to biting high gain*.

When using Drive mini series effects, the resulting sound is depending mainly on the combo or amplifier you use, as well as the speakers installed in your cabinet.

Drive series mini pedals provide massive gain, and tonal perfection — exactly as the tube heads they represent!

► FEATURES

All pedals of the Drive mini series are easy to handle and have a minimum of controls.

• The pedal sensitivity and drive/distortion amount is determined by the position of GAIN control.
• The overall output level is determined by the position of LEVEL control. It’s range of adjustment provides the standard minimum level of -10dB and reaches +8 dB at its maximum position.
• The pedal also features a simplified TONE control, which is designed for general tone matching of the pedal to your amplifier. Further EQ adjustment may be made on the expanded preamp section of your amplifier.
• The VOICE switch is to cut some mids. To expand the possibilities of timbral matching with amplifiers and combos with different overall sound patterns, a stepwise switching of M/F timbre settings is provided. It is recommended to use the F mode for working with a clean channel, the M mode for working with the wedge–crunch channel of the amplifier (combo).
  
• Standard 9V or 12V DC (-) negative center power required.
• Voltage consumption is low, running at only ~4mA of the power.
• TRUE BYPASS circuitry. There is no tone coloration, signal degradation, or loss while pedals are not in use.

**  IMPORTANT NOTE!  There is the User's manual (PDF) for discontinued Drive pedals is placed on that URL link at the moment. Meanwhile, the only difference between the Old Drive pedals and the New Drive mini series is just the form size and the fact is that the new Drive mini series pedals can't be powered by 9V battery. They have to be used with the power supply 9-12V DC only. As for the rest, information inside that PDF doc — is a maximum closer to present Drive mini series pedals.
